Description
ROMAN EMPIRE. Trajan. 98-117 AD. Æ Sestertius (25.67 gm; 32 mm). Struck circa 104-107 AD. Laureate bust right, slight drapery on far shoulder / Dacia, in attitude of mourning, seated left on pile of arms; trophy before. RIC II 564 var. (no drapery); cf. BMCRE 785-91; Cohen 534 var. Lovely strike on a nice full flan. Well centered. Some minor smoothing and light tooling, otherwise well struck. Green patina. Choice EF.
