BUYIDS (Buwayhid) of PERSIA, Adud Al Daulah Abu Shuja (338-372 AH), AR Dirhem (2.98 gm; 29 mm). On obverse, citing also Rukn al Dulah Abu Ali as patron, year 601, uncertain mint-possible "Namshir" in Kurdistan province of Iran near the battlefield of Jelewla. Lovely strike on a nice broad flan. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
