Description
ARAB-SASANIAN, GYANBUD. Æ Unit (1.47 gm; 24 mm). two juxtaposed figures in Byzantine imperial clothing, word "Llah" in between, Apzun to the left / Reverse attedant to left, Pahlavi name or phrase (per Gyselen) "y'nbwt" GYANBUD followed by illegible Pahlavi phrase. Gyselen Type 80. Lovely strike on a nice broad flan. Reddish patina. Choice Good VF. Of highest rarity among Arab Sasanian series.
