SICILY. "Kainon" . Circa 360-340 BC. Æ 22mm (9.18 g). Griffin running left; grasshopper below / Horse prancing left, reins loose; star above. Calciati I pg. 252, 10; SNG ANS 1175. Fine, brown patina, some light cleaning scratches.

Lot also includes another example without the star on the reverse. Calciati I pg. 249, 1; SNG ANS 1169. Fine with brown patina. 2 coins in lot.
