DIOCLETIAN. 284-305 AD. Antoninianus (22mm - 4.23 g). Lugdunum mint. 7th emission, struck 290-291 AD. IMP DIOCLETIANVS AVG, radiate and mantled bust left, holding eagle-tipped scepter / IOVI AVGG, Jupiter standing left, holding Victory on globe in right hand, scepter in left, eagle standing at feet left; A. RIC V 28; Bastien 323. Good VF, brown patina with a hint of silvering, strike a little soft on tip of bust.
