Description
An excellent Maya figural vessel from Guatemala, ca. 400 - 800 AD. This great little pitcher is 3-3/4” high and depicts the Wind God. His cheeks are characteristically puffed out and the ears are perforated. The red slip shows good mineral deposits. Great example! Ex Toledo estate. Value range: $400 - $500
