An Ionian grey-ware Aryballos, East Greek, c. 7th Century BC, with piriform body and small amphora-like foot, the tubular neck surmounted by a wide flat rim, the handle flat and connects to the rim from the shoulder. H: 4” (10.2 cm). Intact, minor chipping to foot. Lighter deposits throughout. Greek pottery from Asia Minor is hard to come by.Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value Range $350 - $450.
