Description
A group of 5 Campanian Greek votive vessels, South Italy, c. 4th Century BC, each black glazed and a miniature for use as an offering. Vessels include a deep and shallow bowl, a plate, a pyxis and a jar. Largest vessel, the shallow bowl, measures 1 15/16” (4.9 cm) in diameter. A couple with minor chipping, but nice examples of this interesting class of pottery which are still constructed on the wheel. Ex Orange County private collection. Value Range: $175 - $275.
