An impressive Huari mace head effigy vessel from Peru, c. AD 650 - 800, extensively decorated with protrusions which are connected with a continuous line, the large spout featuring the traditional chevron designs typical of the Highlands area. H: 6 ¼”. In exceptional condition, with vivid paint and strong mineral encrustation on the interior. Ex Arte Xibalba. Value Range $400 - $500.
