A fine Maya polychrome jar from El Salvador, c. 400 – 800 AD. This elaborately painted example is 5” high, 5-1/2” in diameter and is decorated with trios of geometric designs, painted alternately in red and black. Vivid paint, strong mineral deposits. Ex Toledo estate. Value range: $650 - $800
