Description

A very attractive bronze amulet of Harpokrates, Late Period, c. 664 – 343 BC, depicted seated nude, right finger to mouth, wearing ‘Hem Hem’ crown and tripartite headdress with side lock. Some minor loss to top of headdress. H: 2 ¾” (7 cm). Excellent surfaces and wear at the top of loop suggests the piece has seen much use in antiquity. Ex Swiss private collection. Value Range: $450 - $550.
