KINGS of THRACE. Lysimachus. 323-281 BC. Silver Tetradrachm (17.26 gm; 30 mm). Lampsacus mint, 297/6-282/1 BC. Diademed head of deified Alexander right with horn of Ammon / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ  ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ, Athena enthroned left, holding Nike who crowns royal name and resting elbow on shield propped against throne, transverse spear in background, MHT monogram above crescent in inner left field. Thompson 61; Müller 395. Lovely style. One of the finest styles from K engraver. Well struck from high relief dies. Nicely centered. Choice Superb Extremely Fine. Toned.
