ROMAN EMPIRE. Galba. AD. 68-69. AR Denarius (3.20 gm; 18mm x 15mm). IMP SER GALBA CAESAR AVG, laureate head right / SALVS GEN HVMANI, Salus standing left, right foot on globe, holding patera in right hand over lit altar to left, cradling rudder in left arm. RIC 211; BMCRE 40; BN -; RSC 238. Lovely strike on nice flan. Couple of minor hairline scratches on the reverse (hardly visible). Choice about Extremely Fine. Nice old-cabinet toning.
