Offered is a magnificent ancient gray schist Gandharan figure statue belonging to the Kushan period, 2nd to 3rd century AD, depicting in finest detail the full body of a Buddha dressed in a flowing sanxhati robe with the drapery falling in multiple elegant folds, unique hair style of the era, sitting peacefully on a tall pedestal, while holding a big textile pouch.
