Pontos, Amisos. Under Mithradates VI Eupator. Ca. 120-111 or 100-95 B.C. Æ (29 mm, 24.26 g, 11 h). Laureate head of Zeus right / ΑΜΙΣΟΥ, eagle standing left, head right, on thunderbolt; in left field, Φ. RG 15; HGC 7, 237. Brown patina with attractive earthen highlights around the portrait of Zeus. Very fine.
