Mysia, Pergamon. Ca. 166-67 B.C. AR cistophoric tetradrachm (27 mm, 12.57 g, 12 h). Ca. 98-95 B.C. Serpent emerging from cista mystica with lid ajar; all within ivy wreath / Bow case between two serpents; above, ΛΥ; in left field, monogram of Pergamon; in right field, serpent-entwined thyrsos. Kleiner 16; Pinder 97; SNG BN 1721. Toned. Obverse die a bit worn. Very fine.
