Description
Cilicia, Mopsos. 1st century B.C. Æ (18 mm, 4.00 g, 12 h). Laureate head of Apollo right / ΜΟΨΕΑΤΩ[Ν] ΤΗΣ ΙΕΡΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΑΥΤΟΝΟΜΟ[Υ], Artemis standing facing, drawing arrow from quiver at shoulder, and holding bow; in exergue, two monograms. SNG BN 1943-4; SNG Levante 1317-8. Dark green patina with lighter highlights. Choice very fine.
