Description
The Levant. 5th century B.C. A hoard of 'hacksilber'. A hoard of sixteen pieces of cut hacksilber without design (i.e., cut from silver ingots). The total weight is 153.20 g, so several of the pieces are quite large. One, however, is huge, weighing 31.82 g and measuring 40 mm across at its widest. Overall a nice group, all with identical toning and surfaces.
