Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy III Euergetes. 246-222 B.C. Æ (42 mm, 64.31 g, 12 h). Alexandria, 246-230 B.C. Diademed head of Zeus-Ammon right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt; in left field, filleted cornucopiae; between legs, XP monogram. Svoronos 964; SNG Copenhagen 171-2. Reddish-brown patina, some porosity and deposits. Very fine.
