Indo-Scythian Kingdom. Azes. Ca. 58-12 B.C. AR tetradrachm (24 mm, 9.64 g, 2 h). Uncertain mint in Western Gandhara. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩN MEΓAΛOY AZOY, king on horseback right, holding whip(?); before, Kharoshthi letter / Athena standing right, making benediction gesture, holding shield and carrying spear over shoulder; in left field, Kharoshthi monogram; in right field, Kharoshthi monogram. Senior 98.310; HGC 12, 637. Good very fine.
