Calabria, Taras. Ca. 280 B.C. AR nomos (20 mm, 7.76 g, 2 h). Warrior, holding shield and two spears, preparing to cast a third, on horseback right; [ΣI] to left, ΛY[KΩN] below / [TAPAΣ], Phalanthos riding dolphin left, holding dolphin. Vlasto 695; HN Italy 967. Toned. Very fine.
