Geta. As Caesar, A.D. 198-209. AR denarius (19 mm, 2.70 g, 1 h). Rome, under Septimius Severus and Caracalla, A.D. 209/10. IMP CAES P SEPT GETA PIVS AVG, laureate head of Geta right / PONTIF TR P II COS II, Genius standing facing, head left, sacrificing out of patera over lighted altar and holding grain ears. RIC 70b; BMC 43-5; RSC 140. Lightly toned. Nice very fine.
