Lot of Two Eastern Provincial Issues. Includes the following: SYRIA, Commagene. Zeugma. Elagabalus. Æ 33mm. Laureate head right / Tetrastyle temple of Zeus(?) with peribolos containing grove of trees; capricorn to right in exergue. BMC 23 // MESOPOTAMIA, Singara. Gordian III, with Tranquillina. Æ 32mm Confronted busts of Gordian, laureate, draped, and cuirassed, and Tranquillina, diademed and draped / Tyche seated left on rocks, holding grain ears; above, Sagittarius leaping left, discharging bow; river-god below. BMC 8. First coin fine with some encrustation, second near VF with a large pit on the reverse. 2 coins in lot.
