NERO. 54-68 AD. Æ Sestertius (37mm - 24.84 g). Lugdunum mint. Struck 67 AD. IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P MAX TR P P P, laureate head left, small globe at point of bust / DECVRSIO, S-C across field, Nero on horseback right, holding spear; behind him, soldier on horseback holding vexillum over shoulder. RIC I 580 (R2)= WCN 480 = Giard 277; BMCRE 314 var. (bust right); BN 187 var. (bust right). VF, brown surfaces, some porosity.

Evidently a very rare variety, only one other specimen recorded from the Madrid Collection.
