Description
A fine Valdivia Venus figure from Ecuador, c. 3000 – 1200 BC. She is 3-1/8” high, ritually broken through the middle and has been glued without restoration. Her complex coif is finely incised and the red slip shows good mineral deposits. Ex Murray collection.
