Description
An eerie Inca effigy head from Peru, c. 1300 – 1500 AD. It is 6-1/2” high and depicts an aggressive looking feline. The eyes are deep set and rows of sharp teeth are visible in the open mouth. Good decorative paint elements, strong mineral deposits. Ex Erika Roman estate. Value range: $400 - $500.
