An adorable Moche effigy bottle from Peru, c. 550 – 700 AD. This beautiful orangeware example is 4-1/2” high and features a happy viringo puppy draped over the top of the chamber. The animal is molded in high relief and accented with cream kaolin pigment. Nicely burnished, strong mineral deposits. Ex Erika Roman estate. Value range: $400 - $500.
