Description

A lot of 2 pale green faience ushabtis, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, both mummiform, wearing a tripartite wig and false beard, arms folded across chest, hands holding a pick and hoe. H: 3 ½” (8.9 cm) & 3 ¾” (9.5 cm). One with losses to feet. Ex Dr. Gilles collection, Germany, acquired before 1960. Value range: $250-$450.
