Lot 289: ANTIQUITIES. A Lot of 5 Egyptian ‘Eye of Horus’ amulets

A group of 5 ‘Eye of Horus’ amulets, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, one a quadruple version of the prolific amulet worn for protection. Three of the amulets are of faience and two are in stone, one of which with some chipping to the backside. Largest 4 cm in length. Ex Dudley Short collection, London, acquired in the 1920’s. Value range: $300-$400.
