Sasanian Kingdom. Hormizd II. A.D. 303-309. AR drachm (29 mm, 4.31 g, 2 h). Bust of Hormizd II right, wearing eagle crown with korymbos / Fire altar with ribbons and bust right in flames; flanked by two attendants, the left wearing winged crown with korymbos, the other wearing mural crown with korymbos. Göbl type Ia/1a. Perfectly centered and well struck, attractive light toning. Extremely fine.
