Sasanian Kingdom. Ardashir III. A.D. 628-630. AR drachm (33 mm, 3.98 g, 3 h). ST (Stakhr), RY 2 (A.D. 630). Bust of Ardashir III right, wearing mural crown with korymbos set on crescent; ribbon over left shoulder; crescent over right shoulder / Fire altar with ribbons, flanked by two attendants; star and crescent flanking flames. Göbl type II/1. Minor porosity on reverse edge. Very fine.
