ROMAN REPUBLIC, Anonymous. 265-242 B.C. Aes Grave Quadrans (72.86 g, 40 mm). Rome mint. Hound running left, three pellets below / Wheel with six spokes, three pellets within. Crawford 24/6a; Sydenham 62. Ex-Personal collection of John Haer. With recent import restrictions on Aes Grave, this is a nice example of a coin with a collecting history which predates the restrictions.
