L. PLAVTIVS PLANCVS (47 BC). Denarius. Rome.
Obv: L . PLAVTIVS. Facing mask of Medusa with disheveled hair, coiled serpents at either side of face.
Rev: PLANCVS. Aurora, draped and winged, flying right, head facing slightly left, holding reins in each hand, conducting four rearing horses of the sun.

Condition: Almost extremely fine.
