Description
Otho. A.D. 69. AR denarius (19 mm, 2.83 g, 6 h). Rome. IMP OTHO CAESAR AVG TR P, bare head of Otho left / SECVRITAS P R, Securitas standing facing, head left, holding wreath and scepter. RIC I 12; BN 17; BMC 19; RSC 19. Rare with head left - only one specimen in Reka Devnia compared to twenty-seven specimens of the same denarius with portrait right. Fine.
