IMP CAES NERVAE TRA[IANO AVG GE]R DAC P M TR P COS V P P, laureate bust of Trajan right, slight drapery on far shoulder / S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, SC in exergue, emperor on horseback galloping right, spearing Dacian kneeling below. RIC 543a; Woytek 319b; cf. BN 638; cf. BMCRE 903 (dupondius). Brown patina, light porosity on obverse, heavier on reverse. Very fine.
