Elagabalus. A.D. 218-222. Æ as (24 mm, 10.42 g, 1 h). Rome, A.D. 218/9. [I]MP CAES M AVR ANTONINVS PIVS [AV]G, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus right / MARS VI-C-TOR, S C across field, Mars advancing right, holding trophy over shoulder and spear. RIC 362; Thirion 43. Rare. Brown patina, small spot of (seemingly) inactive corrosion on obverse edge at 4 h. Good very fine.
