SASANIAN KINGS. Shapur II. 309-379 AD. AR Drachm (24mm - 4.10 g). Crowned and cuirassed bust right / Fire altar with attendants and ribbon, bust facing right in flames. SNS Type 1b1/3a; Göbl Ia/6. Near EF, well struck particularly the obverse, minor roughness on the reverse. Unusual crown type with circular lines on the ball instead of the normal vertical lines.
