IMP · CAESAR DIVI · F III · VIR · ITER · R · P · C ·, bare head of Octavian right / COS · ITER · ET · TER · DESIG around, the temple of Divus Julius: cult statue of Divus Julius Caesarwithin tetrastyle temple with DIVO · IVL inscribed on the architrave and with star in pediment; to left, flaming altar. Crawford 540/2; HCRI 315; Sydenham 1338; RSC 90. All legends complete, engraving details well delineated and fresh. Rarely found this nice. Nearly extremely fine.
