Macedonian Kingdom. Philip III Arrhidaios. 323-317 B.C. AR drachm (19 mm, 4.25 g, 12 h). Magnesia on the Maeander. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ, Zeus seated left, holding eagle and scepter; between throne leg and scepter, thyrsos. Cf. Price P52 (thyrsos in left field). Lightly toned. Nice very fine.
