MYSIA, Pergamum. Roman Rule. Ca. 133-67 BC. AR Cistophoric Tetradrachm (12.56 gm; 28 mm). NGC-Choice AU (Strike 5/5; Surface 3/5). Struck circa 92-88 BC. Cista mystica with serpent, all within ivy wreath / Bowcase flanked by two serpents, heads confronted, monograms above, serpent twined around thyrsus to right, monogram to left. SNG France 767; Stumpf 3. NGC-CHoice AU. Certificate # 4374469-026. Lovely strike on a broad flan. Choice AU.
