GALATIA, Kings of. Amyntas. 36-25 BC. Æ (5.62 gm; 20 mm). Head of bearded Herakles right, club over shoulder / BASILEWS above, AMYNTOY in exergue, lion walking right. SNG France 2, 2355ff; SNG Copenhagen 96; BMC Galatia etc. pg. 3, 9; SNG von Aulock 6107; Laffaille -. Lovely strike on an excellent metal. Struck in high relief. Nice original dark brown-reddish patina. Choice Superb "As Struck". Very rare. Great example for this issue.
