A choice Tiahuanaco polychrome pitcher from Bolivia, c. 200 – 800 AD. This boldly painted Yamparaez style example from the Sucre area is 7-5/8” high, 7” in diameter and is decorated with the highly stylized zoomorphic designs characteristic of the type. In superb condition, with good mineral deposits. Ex Espinoza estate. Value range: $650 - $750.
