A nice Etruscan pyxis, c 6th - 5th Century BC, with concentric bands containing alternating squares and lines on the lid and squares and dots on the body, the bottom of the body and foot glazed black. H: 4 ¼” (10.8 cm). Some repair to bowl. A very attractive lidded vessel! Ex Orange County collection. Value Range: $500-$600.
