Description
A lovely Chorrera head fragment from Ecuador, c. 1200 BC – 1300 AD. It is 2-3/4” long and depicts an individual adorned with a small labret and ear ornaments. The coffee bean eyes and small slit mouth create the characteristic enigmatic expression. Good mineral deposits, mounted on stand. Ex Melnick collection. Value range: $85 - $125
