A lot of nice Egyptian faience amulets relating to the goddess Isis, Late Period, c. 712 - 30 BC. The first is a detailed amulet of the goddess Isis depicted seated suckling the infant Horus. H: 28mm. Extremely well detailed, the green glaze now an attractive purplish-green. The second amulet is a ‘Tyet’ or ‘knot of Isis’, in bright blue faience with good detail. H: 20mm. Ex Negus collection, UK, early 20th century. Value range: $350-$450.
