Lot 211: ANTIQUITIES. A nice Etruscan bucchero Kyathos

A nice Etruscan bucchero Kyathos, late 7th century BC, the bowl narrowing to a flat base, three parallel grooves just above. The shoulder is decorated with incised lines angled to the right and the mouth straight with rounded lip. The handle looped from shoulder to rim and decorated with ridges and a patch of extremely fine angled lines just below the attachment point on the inside of the rim. H: 4” (10.1 cm). Intact and well burnished a few small chips to the rim and light deposits. A well-made and very attractive piece!. Ex Orange County private collection. Value range $500 - $600.
