Glass Face Bead. Buddhist Central Asia, Early Islamic Period, 900-1100 AD. Dark blue glass bead with three faces, waves between, made using the wound glass method over a wire mesh armature. 20 mm. Choice. Very rare. Christie’s has sold smaller examples for $5000+.
