SELEUKID KINGS. Demetrius I Soter, 162-150 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.54 gm; 30 mm). Antioch mint. Dated SE 159 (154/3 BC). Diademed head right within wreath / Tyche seated left, holding sceptre and cornucopiae; winged Tritoness supporting throne, two monograms to outer left, date in exergue. SNG Spaer 1270 var. (monograms); SMA 107; Houghton 154. Lovely style. Well struck on a nice broad medallic flan. Choice aEF. Lightly toned.
