SELEUKID KINGS. Seleukos I. 312-280 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.80 gm; 28 mm). Ekbatana mint. Struck circa 311-295 BC in the name of Alexander. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre; two monograms, anchor, and forepart of horse grazing in left field; SW below throne. SC 204.1a; ESM 480. Nicely struck on a broad flan. Choice Good VF. Lightly toned.
