QAJAR DYNASTY. Ca. 17th.- 18th. Century AD. Large Agate Seal (38.14 gm; 78mm x 48mm x 3mm). Wonderful style of calligraphy. Ya zol-jalal al karim ella allah (center piece). A prayer type repetition of words followed by word “A(l)naas” (people) meaning various things that come from “people”. The entire piece says: with all things that come from people or go to people, God is the only one who is entitled to all glories. Excellent condition. Rare.
